The Shalalalas nascono nel 2013 a Roma e dopo pochi mesi registrano un primo ep, suscitando l’interesse della stampa e della scena indie capitolina. Inizia così una prolifica serie di concerti che li porta ad aprire ad artisti del calibro di The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Fear of Men e Widowspeak. Il primo LP dal titolo “There are 3 las in Shalalalas” vede la partecipazione di molti esponenti della scena underground capitolina e li porta ad esibirsi su oltre 120 palchi in un mega tour promozionale che arriva a toccare anche il Primavera Sound. L'ultimo album boom, è una collezione di meravigliosi colori, un grande frullato di sonorità primaverili: caldo, malinconico, vivo e divertente. Il 24 settembre 2020 è la data di uscita del loro ultimo e.p. "Silly vain details" e noi non vediamo l'ora di rivederli dal vivo.

The Shalalalas are a cool band from Rome. They started their musical path on 2013 and they immediately started playing a lot. They also performed as opening act for The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Fear of Men e Widowspeak. One of their songs, "A Week" became the title track for the famous italian tv series "L'Allieva". They've never left the underground culture and continue to play several concerts on the italian territory and in Europe, even on big stages as the Primavera Sound Festival. A great show, nice, colored and melancholic at the same time.
